Workplace Investigations
When an employee makes a report or complaint to their employer that they
believe they have been subjected to discrimination, harassment or retaliation,
their report or complaint triggers a mandatory duty on the part of their
employer to investigate the allegation and take prompt remedial measures
to correct unlawful employment practices. Many times employers decide
to hire attorneys to serve as third party investigators to conduct such
investigations and determine whether legal violations have occurred. In
our role as zealous advocates for our clients, the lawyers at Frank Freed
Subit & Thomas have developed extensive experience and skills in discovering,
recognizing, and analyzing evidence of discrimination, harassment or retaliation
in the workplace. We are available and welcome referrals from employers
to conduct investigations into allegations of illegal employment practices
as part of our mission of advancing and protecting employee rights at work.
