Workplace discrimination in any capacity is prohibited by federal law. Federal Equal Employment Opportunity laws are designed to protect employees from wrongful discrimination by employers and coworkers. Employees who have been unfairly discriminated against are allowed to file a lawsuit against their perpetrators.
